How truthful do you think Jose Canseco has been when naming which players he thought or knew took steroids?
I know Bonds never tested postive, but it is pretty obvious.
Do you think Alex Rodriguez, Barry Bonds, and Rafael Palmeiro will make the hall of fame after steroid use ?
the funny thing is i dont care. gaylord perry is the master of cheat and he is in the hall. baseball, like all other jobs, cares about results not process. anyway different eras have different products. deadball era stats are deadball era stats. steroid era stats are steroid era stats. my all time favorite players are class acts like roger clemens, andy pettitte, gary sheffield, mark mcgwire, jason giambi, alex rodriguez, jose canseco, pudge rodriguez, juan gonzalez, carl everett, miguel tejada, chuck knoblaunch, sammy sosa, and rafael palmeiro the only guy i like who isn't on the mitchell report is ken griffey jr., who is cleani find it highly unfair that bonds is unemployedthe mid to late 90s was the golden age of baseball we had great sluggers, paul bunyan-like american hero like albert belle, mcgwire, sosa, bonds, brady anderson, mo vaughn, greg vaughn, and a lot more
Roger Clemens, Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire and Rafael Palmeiro, will any of these roiders make the Hall of Fame?
1B- Mark Grace 2B- Ryne Sandberg SS- Ozzie Smith (as much as it pains me) 3B- Adrian Beltre (never saw Brooks) C- Pudge P- Maddux (who else?) OF- Ken Griffey Jr. OF- Ichiro Suzuki OF- Jim Edmonds DH- Rafael Palmeiro! haha. What the hell were they thinking?
Best fielders (you've actually seen play) by position? I will list mine, admitting some bias to Cubs.?
The small island nation of Cuba has the most awards in the baseball playing world. Back when US and Cuban relations were stable in mob rule Havana of the 30's-50's the Yankee WS and Orioles WS teams played the Cuban National team in friendlies and guess who won - Cuba. In the Olympics - baseball, Cuba has participated 5x. 3 of the 5x they have achieved gold medals and the other 2x they received silver medals. In the Caribbean they almost always constantly beat Venezuela, Puerto Rico (US), DR, and Mexico. In the last WBC they took out Venezuela, Puerto Rico (US), the DR, and the USA and almost rallied back against Japan from a sluggish start. They were caught off guard, but won't happen again. Cubans have always prided themselves in their baseball abilities. I mean a lot of Cuban players made a name for themselves in the MLB and more of them would exceeding the numbers of Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, and Venezuelans there are in the MLB if it weren't for the embargo and restrictions the US and Cuba have. Think about it. Outside of, Rafael Palmeiro - Used to be respected. Is the black sheep of Cuba for his steroid abuse. He is a member of the 500 HR club, but a lot of questions arise concerning Rafy. Jose Canseco - Is another outsider that in Cuba is detested his family name holds no water there. There have been many great Cubans to grace the game and would be more if not for said blockade. Jose Contreras - World Series winning pitcher El Duke Hernandez - Multiple World Series winning pitcher Livan Hernandez - Solid pitcher for a couple of seasons. Tino Martinez - Great first basemen and multiple World Series winner Alexei Ramirez - Solid year w/ the White Sox Tony Perez - Hall of Fame player, Big Red Machine ----------------------------------- Yulieski Gourriel - The star of Cuba's WBC National team at 25 years old is one of the most heavily touted internationals MLB scouts have admitted would be a 1st round pick if ever eligible.Last WBC Cuba beat Venezuela, PR (USA), DR, and USA
Cuba owns the WBC!!!?

Do you know who else used steroids in MLB.?
Who has a better shot at eventually making the Hall - Rafael Palmeiro , Roger Clemens, Big Mac, or Barry Bonds.
Who has a better chance of getting into the Hall of Fame?
Okay, I wanted to ask this cause McGriff was one of my favorite baseball players when I was a kid. I've been reading the web and old stories count him out of the category because he didn't put up as big of numbers as others during his career namely...McGwire, A. Rod, and Rafael Palmeiro. Well, now we know all these players were on steroids or some other substance. So, McGriff has a World Series Ring, 5 all star games, and career numbers that resemble and sometimes overtake those of Stargell and McCovey, both hall of famers. If they keep McGriff out of Cooperstown for 7 home runs, I think that would be a great disservice to the game.Thank you all for your opinions. I see your point now, ah...there may still be a shot. I do know he won't get in on the first try though.
Do you think Fred McGriff should be voted into the hall of fame?
