Could It Be Another Virgin Mary?
About how a father could stop one of his children from marrying a black person. Why are people so racist? That is my question. Why do people have to judge others based on their skin color. The guy said he didn't want his beautiful family ruined by a black person. but there are plenty of gorgeous black and half black people. black: tyra banks, queen latifah, beyonce, kelly rowland, iman, crystle stewart 1/2 black: alicia keys, halle berry, dorothy dandridge, vanessa williams Am I right?
how come God made her so better than us..........?
get upset when they grow up and are conceited and arrogant? Why do you think light skin girls with light eyes and "good" hair are typically (not always) stuck up, because when they were kids everyone was ALWAYS telling them how pretty they are and ignoring the attractive brown skin or dark skin kids. Your the ones that gave them the big head and then get mad when they grow to believe they are better or prettier then dark skin people. Sorry it's the truth. Look at all the black female sex symbols throughout history majority are light skin: Lena Horne, Dorothy Dandridge, Dianne Carrol, Halle Berry, Tyra Banks, Beyonce etc... This is because the black community themselves put these women on a pedestal while ignoring the Lauryn Hill types.haha nice Latrell, I'm not insecure, their are beautiful light ppl and dark skin ppl I don't care whose in the spotlight. My point is that the blk community puts these ppl on a pedestal and then get upset when they grow to think their better. You people obviously have poor comphensive skills. First of all that's me in the picture I'm not "pitch black" and even if I was I won't hate lighter skin women but my parents didn't raise me that way.gr1zzyly you need to get a grip and read the question and statement over. Obviously you don't get and your little insult don't mean a thing.lol ali I'm not it's just funny.Mellie I know not ALL are but some are and the reason why they are is mostly because the black community and larger society puts them on a pedestal. My best friend is biracial and gorgeous doesn't have a stuck-up bone in her body.
Why do many African-Americans put light skin "good" hair people on a pedestal and then?
I'm looking for a reprint of 20x29 Japanese movie poster for Carmen Jones. It came out in 1954 I think, and started Dorothy Dandridge. The original is $900 and not a possibility. There are several versions, but this is the one I really want. The German version is also nice.
Where can I find a Japanese movie poster Reprint?
I have in my possession the personal creative works and effects of the Nicholas Brothers, with a few rare Dorothy Dandridge items, as well. I am looking for wealthy, influential African American artists or collectors who will make sure these items are kept in mint condition for posterity. These items are an amazing investment for a personal (home) collection or a museum. Items include a never-before-heard reel to reel, rare autographed photos, handwritten musical scores, signed Broadway and Carnegie Hall handbills, the taps off the brothers' shoes and much, much more. We even have a rare photo of Harolynn, Dandridge's mentally retarded daughter, EXTREMELY rare. The collection is priced at $300k and I am willing to offer a finder's fee to anyone who can help me sell it to a responsible buyer.
